Wills, Trusts & Probate

WILLS

Estate planning allows you to participate in how you would like for your hard earned assets to be distributed after your death. Depending on your situation, we have a range of tools that will allow you to actively direct your assets to the people, places or institutions that you choose.

Some of the types of Wills available include; Simple, and Testamentary Trusts. The type of Will that is chosen depends on the individual needs and wishes.

TRUSTS

Trusts that are available include; Revocable, Irrevocable, Charitable and Spendthrift. After consultation and research we can determine and make recommendations which type of Trust would best fit your needs.

Other Considerations

A Living Will allows you to direct your medical care should you become incapacitated. A Durable Power of Attorney provides a means for whomever you chose to make financial decisions and conduct business for you if you are no longer able to do so for yourself.

PROBATE

Probate law provides methods and rules for governing the assets of a deceased person. This includes the accounting of the assets, paying of creditors and distributing the remainder of the estate to the desired beneficiaries.
